About GUIDE ME

GUIDE ME is a peer mentoring programme for young people by young people. Guides are young people who have lost a loved one and are turning their darkest moment into a source of support for others.

In 2024, we launched a new iteration of the Guides community, called Guide Me. This 3-year schools based programme provides bereaved young people with a safe, creative space to express their grief, meet others who know how it feels, and learn how to help others like them.

While the GUIDE ME programme is funded by the National Lottery, we still need your continued support to keep delivering this essential service to bereaved young people. The programme is contributing to the landscape of youth culture and it’s need for compassionate, creative, cohesive approaches to real support.

How will your donation help?

Apart of Me are very proud to be taking our intervention scheme into schools, after a time of deep, strategic focus. We have been co-designing this iteration of Guides for over 12 months, with young people’s ideas and input at its core.

Now that we're delivering this meaningful peer-support service in schools across the UK, we need your help to keep funding the work and everything that goes into it.

Other Ways to Support

If you can't donate to this campaign but would like to support us another way, that's great too! You could organise your own fundraising activity for this campaign, like a local bake-sale or sports challenge. Or you could spread the word and ask all your friends, family, and online contacts to support us! Simply sharing on social media is a huge help, and we're already grateful!
