Who makes Apart of Me?
Apart of Me is a charity dedicated to supporting children, young people, and parents through loss and trauma. Our aim is to be your trusted guide through life's biggest challenges, such as grief and loneliness. We empower you to work with 'difficult' emotions and to discover your own strength and wisdom hidden in the darkest of places.

​At the core of what we do is our multi-award winning therapeutic game, which was co-created by experts in child psychology and bereaved young people. It translates bereavement-counselling techniques into a magical 3D world and is totally free to use.

How was Apart of Me born?
Apart of Me was born in London, in 2015, when our co-founder Louis Weinstock was working at St Joseph’s Hospice in Hackney as part of a psychology team. During this time, he met many brave young people who had lost loved ones and their worlds had turned upside down. After a series of workshops with these young people, a decision was made to create a game that could guide young people through their grief.
Not all young people want to see a counsellor or therapist. That's why Apart of Me has created a radical new way to help children and young people. It's a game. It's a community. It's a new way of looking at life. It's therapy designed with children and young people in mind.
